Cassie drew her emerald cloak around her as she entered the Hogs Head. She had meant to go the the three broomsticks, but it had been so noisy and busy that Cassie had left the hustle and bustle and slipped into the Hogs Head. She needed time to think and she knew that at the Hogs Head with a little persuasion if needed people would leave her alone. Cassie went and sat in the corner so she could think over everything that had happened and survey who was in the pub.

Julius walked in from the blustery winds outside into his favorite afterwork place, The Hog's Head. Sure, it wasn't as fancy as The Three Broomsticks, nor it was as warm, but there was a certain charm about the place, and a solitude that made it perfect for Julius. He walked up to the bar, and ordered a firewhiskey, before turning and surveying the scene. It was sparse except for a lone girl sitting in the corner looking like she had alot on her mind. He walked over to her, and smiled. "You look you could use a friendly ear to unload on."

Cassie was instantly on her guard, and gripped her wand out of sight. She relaxed though when she saw who it was. "Oh, hi Professor" Cassie said with a shy smile. she nodded "you can sit down if you want" Cassie wondered why he was talking to her, everything had been so different since she had arrived at the castle and she felt out of her depth.

Julius smiled, and sat down. He hated seeing his student's looking so glum when there was so much to be grateful for. He looked into Cassie's eyes, and smiled. "So what is troubling to Miss Jones, and why have you decided to enter a place like this?"

Cassie's eyes turned to a sombre grey with flecks of green. "Everything here is so different" she said softly. "I moved here from a performing arts college and I can't seem to adjust" she explained. "I came here so that i could jsut think things through and I wouldn't be bothered" Cassie said, amused that just that had happened. "You don't have to leave though" Cassie quickly assured him if the thought had corssed his mind.

Julius smiled at Cassie, and took a sip of his firewhiskey. "Well, life is full of changes Miss Jones, some things that we control, and some that we can't. All we can do though, is do our best with what is given to us. If you do that, then life will become a breeze." Julius smiled, and winked at Cassie. "Don't worry Miss Jones, I wasn't going anywhere. I have a tendency to break the rules once I have learned the game."

Cassie felt her cheeks warm a little, "Call me Cassandra," she asked, "Miss Jones sounds old and plain, so far I'm neither" Cassie said, a smile on her face. "All I did was dance, it was my life and still is, yet there are other things as well" thoughts of Jacob drifted into her mind and she blushed again as her eyes constantly changed, this time settling into a deeper green.

Julius smiled. "Alright...........Cassandra. Do you think that we don't have oppurtunites to dance at this school? Is that what's bothering you, because if you are worried about it, why don't you start your own dance club? If you like, I would be more than willing to back you on it. What other things are on your mind though?"

Cassie nodded, smiling, a dance club was a great idea. "Well I still dance, I run round the lake in the morning and dance in the room of requirement in every spare moment I have." She explained, "Well there's a boy" she started hesitantly, it felt odd and slightly embarassing to be talking about this with a professor but Cassie also knew that she needed someone to talk to and he was sitting right there.

Julius smiled at Cassie, and took another sip of his Firewhiskey. "It sounds like you live a very active lifestyle. That is good, real good in fact. It is always nice to get out there and try and make new friends." When Cassie mentioned the boy, Julius chuckled a little. Oh yes, he knew all about romantic situations, more than he thought he should know. He smiled, and gave Cassie a reassuring look. "A boy huh? Do you mean a boyfriend or a boyfriend?"

Cassie blushed even more. "I honestly don't know" she said softly, looking up earnestlyat her professor asking for advice. "When I was dancing I had no time for boyfriends, although I was friends with my boy partners. It's all so new. He's only a fourth year and I haven't known him long" Cassie blushed and looked away from him, letting her hair fall to hide her face.

Julius got up, and sat closer to Cassie. He gently turned her face to his, and smiled. "You have nothing to be embarrassed about. You are a beautiful, charming, young woman, who is going to make a young man very happy. You shouldn't let your emotions get in the way of anything though. Take a chance, and see where this relationship you have now takes you."

Cassie gasped as she felt his fingers on her chin. Cassie felt heat flood her cheeks and unconciously her eyes changed. "What colour are my eyes?" she asked, fearful about what the answer would be.

Julius sighed as Cassie let out her little gasp. Ah, to be young again, and enjoy the simple things in life, like a light touch of the cheek. He smiled, and looked into Cassandra's eyes. "They are a light shade of emerald, and very beautiful I might add."

It was the answer Cassie had been expecting and she knew what she wanted to do, even though all her instincts were screaming for her to stop, leave and not look bacl. Before she had time to talk herself out of it she leaned forward and pressed her lips to his.
