First Game Slytherin vs Ravenclaw

[Holly Callaway]

Holly saw that Serenity was about to throw the quaffle. Holly was about to go to her right but saw that Serenity was tricking her because she threw the quaffle to Holly's left, so Holly flew to her left just in time to grab the quaffle in the tips of fingers. She then threw the quaffle to one of the nearby Ravenclaw chasers.

[When I say left and right, I mean my left and my right]

[Gabrielle Kedavra]

Gabi caught hold of the Quaffle, and put it tight towards her. Flattening her body to the broom, she weaved her way through the Slytherins, soaring up, then down, right, then left, looking out of the corners of her eyes to see who was free. As she reached the middle of the pitch, she glimpsed Derek in the corner of her eyes. With a quick jolt like motion, then almost going back on herself, she sped her broom towards Derek, before holding the quaffle and throwing it over arm to Derek.

[Derek Calder]

Derek had to speed forward a touch, to catch hold of the quaffle, but catch hold of it he did. Tucking it into him, he pushed the broom forward, the rings getting nearer and nearer. He could see his team, flying around him, like a guard protecting him from the rival team. As the breeze blew, it took him along slightly, until he was close to the rings. With a deep breath, he grabbed the quaffle, and threw it towards the ring.

[Gabrielle Kedavra]

Gabi rushed across when seeing a nearing Slytherin, and grabbed the quaffle. Pulling her broom up and over, like a loopa loop on a Rollercoaster, to miss the oncoming Slytherin, Gabi pushed her broom to it's maximum, darting this way and that before she got to the rings, just a couple of feet away. With all of her might, she shot the quaffle towards the ring, hoping with all of her heart and passion, the keeper would miss.

[Derek Diggory]

{I'm guessing what threw Danny was Vanessa wondering if she could draft Serenity to replace Parkinson, which implied she wasn't already here.}

Derek was sat on the edge of his seat as he watched the Quaffle heading towards the Slytherin ring.

Spencer spotted Derek immensely close to the goal hoop, and raced off towards a bludger. Nailing it, he sent it spinning towards him.

[Taryn Love]

Taryn watched as the quaffle went towards the goal hoping that it would miss. She knew she would have get the quaffle soon if she was to make a goal.

[Serenity Kedavra]

Serenity looked around to Taryn she nodded giving her the signal that if it didnt make it she should rush over to the quaffle if it never made it in since she was the closest.

[Danny O'Halloran]

((OK, given that the shot was posted days ago, can we just make a rule that if a keeper doesn't respond within 48 hrs, we assume it to go in? It'll increase the pace of things no end...))

"Gabi Kedavra with a fierce-looking shot," said Danny, expectantly.

(ooc: I guess it's fair... . But I threw a bludger at Derek ages ago and he hasen't posted so...)

(I think the same goes like if someone hits a bludger like you spencer and its been ages till the time u posted that and they just never posted it should count that it hit them or if a chaser throws to another chaser on the team and the other never posted the opposing team should be able to steal the quaffle what do you think?))

ok, I'm going to do a rare step in, I hope I don't have to do this often. Ravenclaw will be awarded the Goal, due to the length of time it took for someone to reply. The bludger has hit Derek in someway. It wouldn't affect the outcome as Gabrielle already had the quaffle and thrown it.

Gabrielle cheered when the Quaffle went through the hoop. Grinning, she hoped that they continue this way for the rest of the match.

Derek patted Gabrielle on the back, his leg aching from where the bludger hit him. He looked around to find out who was start off with the quaffle.
