Adrian was told his first class was beginning today. He went over his class list and frowned slightly at the small outcome. His mood deepened when he saw two familiar names and knew at least one of them, if not both, would probably want a transfer. He posted messages on the House boards and was hoping that maybe more people would show up today than had signed up.
Adrian stepped into his back office to search for a few things he would be needing for the class.

Gabby had seen the notices that flying classes were starting, so she grabbed her broom and headed out. She reached the castle steps buit then hopped on her broom as she couldn't be bothered to walk. Gabby enjoyed the wind whipping through her loose hair and forgot about going to lesson for a minute, she started to zoom around, loosening up and just enjoying the ride.

Brenna walked into the class with her bag over her shoulder and her broom in hand. She let out a sigh of relief when her brother was no where to be seen. Maybe that meant he had changed his mind and quit already. She saw Gabby in the air and waved before dropping her stuff on the ground.

Gabby saw Brenna and sped towards the ground at a breakneck speed. She pulled up just before she hurtled into the ground and smiled at Brenna, hovering. "Hi, looking forward to it?" She asked grimly, knowing that Brenna was thinking the exact opposite.

Brenna groaned. "Not at all." She muttered under her breath. She crossed her arms over her chest unhappily. She had decided that this class would probably be awful no matter what, but having her brother teach it only made it worse. "No one else is coming?" She asked curiously.

Gabby shrugged, "I don't know, it's pretty short notice so maybe people didn't hear about it." She answered as she hopped off her broom and slung it over her shoulder.

Adrian came out with his broom. His robes were billowing in the wind behind him. "Hello, ladies." He said with a nod as he approached them. He looked at Brenna and noticed she didn't seem to happy about this arrangement and chuckled a bit. "Brenna, it's been a long time." he said to his baby sister. "And, please forgive me, but I assume you are Miss Brocklehurst?" He asked Gabby brightly.

Gabby smiled at him, "I sure am, Gabby" she said, using her first name. He was friendly and seemed to have a sense of humour, but she knew that Brenna would still be uncomfortable.

"Well, it is very nice to meet you, Miss Brocklehurst." Adrian said with a smile. Brenna still hadn't said anything, which was expected. He didn't think she'd be all too happy. "Is this all we have?" He asked looking around. "Pity, I was hoping a slightly larger turnout. Oh well, I guess it's easier to get more things done with just two." He said shrugging. "Shall we begin?"

Gabby smiled at him before hopping onto her broom and just hovering slightly off the ground. She had been flying before she could run and had spent hours chasing over the moors on her broom. "So what should we start with?" Gabby asked, hoping she wasn't being too forward by just jumoing straight onto her broom.

Brenna walked down to the field and mounted as well. "Yes, let''s get this over with." She grumbled before kicking off and hovering at the same height as Gabby.

Gabby smiled at Brenna's attitude, secretly amused by it. "So what are we learning today professor?" Gabby asked as her eyes sparkled. She had a feeling she was going to enjoy this lesson.

Adrian laughed at his siaster's 'tude even though he knew that it would probably annoy her even more. "We will be learning basic flying techniques. Sort of a review. I would like to know how much we have to accomplish. I must confess, today may be a rather boring class, but the ones following should be much more interesting." He said with a wink. He mounted his broom and kicked off as well.

Gabby did a small circle on her broom, then hovered to face the professor. Gabby smiled at him, he seemed relaxed and easy to get on with, if you weren't his sister that is.

"You first, Gabby." Adrian offered. "I would like you to circle the pitch twice and then once more. On the third time I would like you to weave in between the Hoops. Then nose-dive into the ground and pull up on the last second. If you feel like you cannot pull up so quickly, please show me how far you can dive down before pulling up. Even if you are halfway above the air and the highest stand." He instructed with a nod.
