Fai walked on to the pitch holding the handle of her broom lightly.
It was so beautiful outside it was almost depressing how close to perfection it was.

Liam walked onto the pitch, his broom in his hand. He was nervous about practice, as he wasn't sure how he would fair. Only one way to find out. He mounted his broom and had his hands grasping it firmly. He then flew up and got a feel for it before flying faster. He started to enjoy it and was waiting for any other team members to practice with.

Gabby strolled onto the pitch, her broom in hand. She smiled as she looked around, she hadn't played in a while and it was only now that she had realised how much she had missed it. She mounted and kicked off hard, shooting into the sky. Hovering for a moment to gain her balance she saw one of her team mates flying and soared over to him. "Hi Liam" she called as she flew closer and recognised him. "How are you doing?" she asked, steadying her broom.

Liam saw gabby and smiled a little. "Hello Gabby. I'm doing great. How about you?" he asked. He was glad he could speak english fluently now and sounded more confident than he did with the speech impedement. "What position are you?" he asked, wondering what the two could do.

"I'm doing greath thanks" Gabby said, smilng at Liam warmly. When she had first met him he had been painfully shy and she had been sure he couldn't speak english properly. She hadn't held that against him but she was happy to see that he was no more confident and more extrovert. "Seeker, what about you?" she asked.

"Keeper." he said, smiling. "I got kind of lucky on the final throw in the try-outs. The ball nailed me in the head and dropped into my hands." he said, blushing at how ridiculous it sounded. "Pretty embarassing, but it helped..I think." he said, rubbing the back of his head with his right hand.

Gabby laughed. "Well at least you stopped it" she replied. "I've been flying since I was four, I spent half my life flying and the other riding, i barely touched the ground" she joked. She smiled as she remembered her long summers at home where she could be gone for hours with just her horse and her broom for company as she sped across the moors.

"Makes enough sense. That was basically how I got my experience as a keeper. I rode on a horse and caught fruit back home." he said, smiling a little. "Do you think anymore of our team mates will show up? I mean, I'd like to know them." he said, sounding curious.

Gabby shrugged. "I don't know" she said casually. "So you rode too?" she asked excitedly, not many people she knew here did as many thought they were just as close a muggle version of brooms as possible.

"Well...kinda. It was only on horseback, I just got used to using brooms." he said, smiling a little. He tried to move his left hand to adjust his grip, but his fingers locked up. He pretended like it was a finger cramp and fixed the problem while rubbing his hand. "Sorry, it was a bit of a muscle cramp." he said.

Gabby smiled at him, not noticing anything odd. "No problem" she said, brushing it off. "No no, what I mean is I rose horses too. My father's a muggle and he owns a horse stud and training centre, I was brought up around horses. I was riding before I could walk." she explained, pulling her hair into a ponytail so it was out of the way.

Liam was unable to say anything for a bit. He didn't wish to talk about it, so he tried to think of a way to say it in a nice way. "I'd rather not talk about it." he said politely.
