It was a rumor that Brooke had heard, a rumor she wanted very much to be true as she walked up to what looked like a janitorial closet, a room that could become anything she wanted or needed it to be. Brooke walked back and forth in front of the door thinking her hardest before daring to open it up and see what lay inside. The lights shining in the room were almost blinding after the dreariness of outside, it was perfect. There were large mats hanging from the roof and some bags hanging from the walls. She stretched out and started doing a set of flips. It helped her to release stress in the same way that punching things did. And at the moment she really needed something.

Vannah rushed to the Room of Requirement. The less number of people she saw on her way there, the better. She was out of breath when she finally got there, she closed her eyes and began to think of a place where she could be invisible. No one could find her, and she'd be alone.
Thinking her wishes had worked, Vannah placed her hand on the cool, hard doorknob. She twisted it and flung the door open in what seemed like one quick movement. Vannah stopped dead in her tracks and looked around. Someone was already in here. She studied the room's interior. It looked like a gym, sort of, only there were only punching bags. Vannah cursed under her breath for the stolen opportunity. She looked around trying to find whoever else was in there and prayed it wasn't someone like Ryan or Gabby. Her eyes swiftly passed over another girl before doing a double-take back.

The shock of noticing that she wasn't alone almost made Brooke loose her balance but she recovered and stood facing the other girl her arms crossed "Um...excuse me." She knew that she recognized the other girl from somewhere but it couldn't have been that important so she just brushed it off.
She rolled her eyes and did a back hand spring, followed by a gainer b-twist. She wasn't going to let the other girl get in the way of good practice. That was until she stopped near to where the other girl was. She stopped for a moment, and was sure that she had seen her before and that it hadn't been just some random occurrence. "Now, who are you."

Vannah narrowed her eyes. She fought to keep from snickering when the girl stumbled. Her thought briefly vanished. She didn't like the girl's tone and frowned slightly. Before she knew it, the girl was in front of her. So the girl liked to show off, whatever, she didn't let it bother her. "Vannah Brooks." She said in a monotone. Vannah didn't bother to return the question. Whoever the girl was didn't bother her, it was useless information to her. All she needed to do was to get the Room to herself.

Brooke stared at the other girl "Well bye Vannah." She said a mocking tent in her voice with a wave of her hand while her mind was going over where she had heard the name before. Then it hit her, "Actually before you leave, it was Storm who got in that fight with Gabby wasn't it." Her voice had slid into an almost bored and uncaring tone as she looked down at her nails, the paint had chipped on one of them, she would need to fix that the second she got to her room, but for now she could get proof from someone other then Gabby.

Vannah didn't move. Her eyes went from narrowed to shooting daggers. How dare that girl! It was always the Gryffindors who needed to be taught a lesson, she thought to herself. Vannah's face was blank of any kind of emotion. So Gabby was searching for the truth, exactly why she had sent Ryan to question her at the club, most likely. "I don't know what you're talking about." Vannah said feigning innocence.

Brooke glared at the other girl though a perfect smile stayed on her face the whole time "Oh I'm sure you know nothing, after all you just found her there right." She could always just go talk with this Storm girl though she didn't like the idea of getting into a bloody confrontation with so little evidence. "Oh and I think you earned three out of four stars for that little performance, someone who really didn't know anything would have been more shocked."

Vannah returned a sweet smile...sickeningly sweet. "I'm glad we're on the same page." She almost turned to leave. It just wasn't worth it. There was definitely somewhere else she could be that hadn't been...invaded. She decided not to move when the girl, a Gryffindor of course, Vannah suddenly realized made that comment. "It was never my intention for it to actually be believed. Of course not, they know better than that....or they should."

Brooke shrugged and went down into the splits, "I hope you realize that I have no personal problem with you...yet. But I would prefer if you and your friends would leave Gabby alone. I've sort of adopted the poor girl and I will not allow anything else to happen to her." Her voice was light belighed by the threat beneith the surface. It was true she had no personal problem with Vannah, sure she wanted to find out who had attacked Gabby but that didn't mean open warfare with the entire house. "Don't let the door hit you on your way out."

Vannah's smiled faded into a scowl. "Fine, I'll leave." She said. "But you tell Gabby to leave what's not hers alone. Then, maybe, I'll leave her alone." Vanah was now smirking. She was determined to come out on top. Without saying anything else she turned and swiftly walked out the door.
