Pandora leaned against the greenhouse wall. Her eyes brushing over the plants around her just as her fingers grazed the leaf of the plant closest to her position. She wasn't sure were she belonged anymore, and that very fact confused her more then any thought ever could. She knew who she was by her name but she was also sure that she didn't want the future that her parents wanted for her. She knew what her heart wanted but her mind fought against the very idea. She knew what her blood demanded and that she was fine with. There were certain things she could live with, and certain things she would live with because there was no way not to but others, she was just so confused. "Why can't I just paint and dance and be happy is that so much to ask for." She spoke out into the air. Why did life have to be so complicated when for one moment she wanted everything to be simple. In this moment it wasn't just a challenging game it was more then that. She needed friendship, she wanted to be loved without strings being attached, she wished that she could know her own heart and find the answer to most of all her future.

Ryan walked into the greenhouse, still not doing very well from all the things that had happened in the past few weeks. As he wakled in his eyes fell on Pandora and he stopped, trying to decide weather he should talk to her or not. After a moment he walked over to her "hey" he said as he couldnt find anything else to say.

Pandora blinked "Hey, I'm really sorry." She meant it. She had helped to ruin his life, and no matter how much fun it had been along the way it wasn't worth the pain. She hoped that things wouldn't be totally ruined between the two of them but was pretty sure that the chances of that were high. He had been her first friend here and now she didn't know what was going to happen.

Ryan sighed and just said "Yea". He really liked Pandora but he should never had been with her, and now that Vannah had left him he didnt know what to do anymore.

"I screwed everything up didn't I." It was a statement not a question. Pandora figured that offering herself up to be blamed for the whole situation might make them both feel better. After all he had lost the girl he loved and Pandora was only confused not devastated.

Pandora shook her head "Hey don't you dare. If I remember correctly it was a joint effort so you taking all the blame and the credit is a bit selfish and very prideful. Very unlike you Ryan." She said doubting that he really wanted pity right now.

Pandora wanted to slap him "Oh I'm sorry darling but it takes two to cheat. And your not so irresistible that I didn't have a choice in the matter." She couldn't let him fall too far into his sadness.

"Ahg... snap out of it. Your not some tragic figure. You are still in school," Pandora sighed she could not believe this boy, he had the rest of his life to worry about finding someone he loved and right now he was acting like his life was over.

Ryan sighed and just simply pulled out the letter from his pocket and handed it to her without saying anything. The letter read:
"Ryan dear i am very sorry to say this but Matt was in a car crash 2 days ago. He is in the hospital now but things are not looking good. We are trying to work something out to get you back here as soon as possible. Love, Mom."

Pandora read the letter and almost sighed in relief just as her face dropped in sadness "Oh I really am sorry." She whispered and stepped towards Ryan before enveloping him in a hug "He had told her how important Matt was to him and she knew that he must being going through something awful at the moment.

Pandora ran a hand through his hair, refusing to say some overused phrase that would probably do more harm then good "Why didn't you tell me about this sooner." Her voice was worried "I thought we could talk about anything."
