Lake

[Reed Brennan]

Reed had been sitting against a tree neat the lake for a while. Her schoolwork was only frustrating her and her Airthmancy work was impossible. Reed sighed and threw her book on the ground. She decided to give up for now and she buried her head in her hands trying to rest.

[Lucretia 'Storm' Seyrrou]

Storm stolled by she kept herself close to the lake. She turned her head noticing someone with her head buried in her hands a book throw casually at her side. She decided to walk towards her noticing the subject of the book.

"Arithmancy can be annoying." she said grinning.

[Reed Brennan]

Reed looked up at an unfamiliar voice. She smiled a little. "Yeah, it can. It's just so---impossible sometimes." She said shielding her eyes from the bright sun. Reed looked the girl over. "I'm sorry, but--er--do I know you? You look a little bit familiar, but I can't remember really meeting you before."

Storm shrugged, she wasn't sure if she seen the girl somewhere, maybe she just looked familiar, but that didn't matter.

"No, I don't think so, I'm." she paused thinking of how she should introduce herself.

"Lucretia, and you are?" she asked her.

[Reed Brennan]

"Reed." She answered back with a slight nod. She made no comment about the interest of her name. Ever since Reed had arrived in Europe she had found out the common American names were rarely used.

"I don't suppose you also have a severe hatrid for Divination, do you." Reed said looking at her Divination book that she had thrown into the Lake earlier as it floated around in the water.

She nodded her head, Divination was her most hated subject, she could never understand how looking into a stupid tea cup helped you foresee someones fortune.

"It's rubbish, a complete waste of time." she watched as the book floated in the lake.

[Reed Brennan]

"Yes, I was hoping to have dropped it by now but my parents think it'll be useful." Reed said with a look of disgust. "I don't see how they'd know, though." She said while shaking her head a little bit. Reed looked at her. "They're muggles." She explained.

This amused her, she heard of muggles pretending to be seer's, but the one's who truly were Seer's ended up to be wizards or witches.

"I'm guessing there glad they have a witch as a daughter?" she said as she sat down beside Reed. Storm would never have been caught with a muggleborn, but at that moment blood status meant little to her.

[Reed Brennan]

Reed laughed and shook her head. "No at first they thought it was a joke. Then, they got it into their heads that I was some horrible creature, then they started to think about how they could use me to their advantage. So they sent my brother, he's a wizard too, here before I could go." Reed explained in a dull tone. She looked away realizing how horrible her parents must seem. "They're not bad people....just confused...for muggles, this is all just a fairytale."

Storm felt she understood what she meant, she would have been confused as well if she were a muggle finding out that real magic exists.

"Aren't they afraid that there are Dark Wizards here?" she knew that if Storms parents met Reed's the outcome would be bloody, her own parents were Death Eaters, while her fate was set in stone as well, but she was planning on avoiding that trail.

[Reed Brennan]

"Oh no, it's all just a fantasy for them. They've never actually seen the Wizarding World." Reed said as she thought back. "Nothing past the platform. They've got it into their heads that the muggle eye cannot view the Wizarding World." She said shaking her head. "They're a bit mental that way, I suppose."

[Lucretia 'Storm' Seyrrou]

She turned away thinking deep. Se wondered what Reed's parents would think if they had known that a lot of things in the muggle world was caused by the wizardings.

"Well then, in that case, it's best they never know, I wouldn't fancy knowing that my daughter automatically has a warrant on her head for being muggleborn." she regretted saying that instantly as she turned to look at Reed to see what her reaction would be.

[Reed Brennan]

Reed turned her head away. She was used to being judged even more because she was a muggleborn. "Yeah, they might not like that too much." She said shrugging it off. "My brother had to do a whole say a whole lot of bull before my parents would let me come."

[Lucretia 'Storm' Seyrrou]

She shrugged as she too faced away from Reed. She had known that her parents have killed countless muggles and muggleborns, at first she had wanted to be a Death Eater, but slowly that died down as she wanted nothing to do with it. She wanted to change the subject to something lighter.

"You must be close to your brother." Storm had no siblings so she wasn't sure how it felt like having someone older watch over you.

[Reed Brennan]

"Yeah, it's pretty nice most of the time." Reed said. "There were a few years when he was here and I wasn't. I thought I would go insane." She said with a light laugh. "In fact, he's probably getting out of cllass soon." She said looking around.
