Vannah walked up to the owlery with a long letter in her hand. The same letter she sent every year. The same letter that was always intercepted, how else would she get no reply? She chose the familiar owl that had always made the trip and tied the bulging letter to it's feet. She hesitated for a while before finallyletting it go. As she stood at the window watching the owl take flight, a tear slid down her face as she knew what would happen now. It was like watching history repeat itself in the biggest disaster ever created.

Emilian walked up to the owlery, a rolled up letter in his hand noting only that he hadn't been able to find Michael as of yet. When he walked in he saw a girl whom he recognized to be the same one he had seen a few days prior. He pressed his tongue to the top of his mouth, it was still sore from her teeth. He took his time tying the note to an owl and sending it out the window before turning towards her. "Why hello there, Savannah," he said pleasantly through a wicked smile.

Vannah flinched at the voice behind her. Their first meeting hadn't exactly been lovely and she had no expectations for the second. She wiped the tear away from her cheek quickly and turned to look at him. "Oh...you're still here..." She said in a slightly disappointed, snobby voice.

"You know you missed me," Emilian said with a cocky grin. He stood in front of the doorway, knowing she'd have to go past him to leave. "I know I have....though my tongue hasn't."

Vannah rolled her eyes. "Actually, I don't believe I've forgotten anyone as fast as I have with you." She sneered, showing no sign of delight. She knew that maybe that was a small lie, but it wasn't completely fake....Vannah didn't move from her spot.

"I don't know about that," Emilian said, crossing his arms and spreading his legs. "I imagine you're one of those girls that push me away and then dream of me at night." His eyes sparkled as one corner of his mouth curved into a smirk.

"I imagine you're one of those guys that dreams about nothing but themselves during the night.' Vannah shot back sharply. She was in a dark mood this morning and as usual letting it out on the first person they saw, only this time she had a reason to be a bitch to him. She step back and sat down on a cedar bench by the window and stared outside saying nothing else because he was blocking the doorway and she didn't feel like getting into it now.

"Actually," Emilian said with a sick grin, "My dreams were all of you last night." And oh the dreams he had had. "Mmm," he sighed, "And what good dreams they were." He wondered how far he would be able to push her this time, ideas started floating around in his head.

"How wonderful." Vannah said sarcastically as she stared out of the window. She brought her head to look at him in disgust. She was about to say something, but she bit her tongue back in case she regretted it later. She looked back out of the wondow saying nothing more.

"Oh yes," Emilian said, deciding to ignore her sarcasm. "I dreamt of your stomach, my letter scar shined in the moonlight." The grin on his face belied that he had dreamt of more than just her stomach, but he didn't give up that bit of information verbally.

Vannah let her hand rest on her lower stomach around the outline of the scar, but she hadn't even realized it was there until she looked down. Sudden anger, even more than before, flooded her body. She stood up and glared at him. "Let's get some things straight." She started to say it in a cold voice. "You are not my first dance, and by far not the first arse to come along. I have a boyfriend whom I love and care about a lot and no one, especially someone like you will change that. If I were locked in a room and forced to pick between you and Ryan I'd choose Ryan before I'd even think about thinking about you." Vannah knew that was mean, but he was starting to get on her nerves. She didn't know what pushed her overboard so quickly, but it just happened.

"Well, if that were the case, then I'd just have to kill your pretty little boyfriend," Emilian grinned, "Oh and what a pretty one he is, too." He had never been one to ignore the beauty of the male form, though the female had been his first choice. "Then I'd have you for myself." He leaned against a side of the doorway, watching her.

Vannah let out a small gasp. "Don't touch Ryan." She warned, though it sounded more like pleading. "Besdies, it wouldn't matter if you were the last guy on Earth, I'd never choose you." She said intending it to hurt.

Emilian clucked with his tongue, shaking his head slightly, "You would be surprised. Though you shouldn't be." He took a few steps toward her, hands deep in his pockets. "I'd believe that somewhere, if you look deep enough, a part of you wants that kiss again," he said quietly, breathing the words.

Vannah took a few steps away, but her travel space was limited. "I bet a part of you wishes I wanted that kiss again." Or maybe a part of her wishes she didn't want that kiss. Her head started spinning. It had been over a full month now and she had been tied down to one guy. That was probably a record for her, but she's realized how much it had changed her. Had she made an error in her judgement? Is she thinking about what could be the biggest mistake of her life? Who was she now?
