Dru smiled gratefully, "Thank you. Not much that I know of, he asked me if my dad had always been a muggle," she laughed at the memory and turned towards Storm, crossing her legs, eyes sparkling once more.

At this Storm raised a brow, that was an odd question to ask someone she turned away from Dru her eyebrows furrowed she didn't say anything as she thought to herself.
"Why would he ask that?" she asked her suddenly after the long pause.

"It was a little mess up he did when I mentioned my dad had a television, he corrected himself quickly though," she said, still smiling, "Asked instead if I had grown up with muggles."

Storm kept her confused look 'more muggle words' she thought to herself.
"What's a..." she felt silly asking but continued on.
"What's a tele... tele... what's it called again?" she felt intrigued by the idea of muggle things, something her parents would disown her for, but at the moment she didn't care.

"Sorry, I forget sometimes," Dru said, an apologetic look on her face. "Television, TV really is what I call it most of the time. It's kind of like a picture, but it can play out an entire story, like a book."

Storm thought about this for a moment, TV sounded very intriguing but she didn't like pictures being played out for her, she preferred imagining things inside her own head, then she coudl picure everything the way she wanted it to look.
"That sounds very interesting, but I think I would prefer writing and reading then you can mold something in any way you wish without having something to show you how it looks like." she felt awkward at asking Dru, but she felt like it was something she always wanted to know for ages.
"How do muggles communicate without using an owl?" she asked her turning her body slightly to face Dru.

"Yeah, what's the worst is when they take a book I really like and have imagined all the characters and then put it on TV and mess it all up," she crunched her eyebrows together, there were some books that had been destroyed when put to film. "We use a telephone. Or letters. Telephone, it's like...hm...I guess you could say it's kind of like the floo network."

Storm found this to be confusing, how could muggles with no magical experience use something relatively close to the floo network.
"So they stick their heads in fireplaces and talk to each other as well?" she asked her eyebrows now scrunched up at the thought of muggles shouting up fireplaces.

Dru shook her head, trying to think of how to explain. "There's these things, telephone lines, and when you pick up the telephone, you hit the numbers of the person you want to talk to, like saying where you want to go in the floo network. And when you hit the numbers it connects you to the person you want to talk to, and you can talk through the lines." She looked at her apologetically, "Sorry I don't know all the outs and ins of it."

Storm laughed at this, buttons, lines, wires, they all seemed funny to her.
"Wow muggles live quite a simple life, I think I will respect them more they are truly under-estimated." she pulled out her wand playing around and it shot sparks from the tip.
"I don't think I can live without my wand, I abandoned it once, and that was a big mistake on my part." she grimaced at this and smiled to Dru.
"I don't think I'd be able to survive one day without it, it's so precious to me." she returned it inside her robes.
"SO how is it, I mean living like a muggle, is it hard?" she asked curiously.

"Well, I never exactly lived just like a muggle. My great grandparents are magical, so I've always had magic in my life. I was home schooled and had friends from old wizarding families as well as muggle friends." Dru smiled sadly, she hadn't seen any of her old friends, besides Dominic, for a long time and she wondered how they had all changed.

Storm smiled at this Dru was lucky, she got to see both sides of the line, not being mistreated by either.
"Well then your at quite an advantage there, you got to experience the world both ways." her face had relaxed after the confusion had left her face.
"You know pureblood families really do get boring after a while. At first your entranced by the vanity, pretty dresses, handsome escorts, but then they all come crashing down around you as you realize that your doomed to a life where you have no say in the matter, ever had that feeling before?" she asked her.

Dru nodded, "Yeah, when my mom and dad insisted on moving over here. They wouldn't let me give my opinion, just said we were going and then the next week, we were on our way over here," she sighed, "I haven't been back since, it's been nearly two years." She looked down at her hands then back up to Storm, "I know my instance isn't as dramatic as yours, but at the time it was absolutely horrible."

Storm gave Dru a reassuring smile.
"Well no need to get depressed over it, I'm sure you made loads of friends, and you met... you met Chase too." as much as it pained her to say it, Storm smiled, but instead it turned into a grimace.
"And besides, once your 17, your legally an adult, so you can visit them." she had friends that were not in her school, ones she hasn't seen in years, but that didn't mean she wouldn't be able to see them, at least she got to see Pandora again.

"I'm glad we came, but it'd be nice to see some old friends. I've met some great people, got some amazing friends," she smiled, nodding towards Storm. She hoped that she and Storm would be able to stay friends through the ordeal.
