Pandora thought back there had always been people watching her and appraising everything she did especially after Eros but it had never been that blatant and most of it was from the relatives of potential suitors what had happened to Michael was just... "Are you sure he didn't like you?" This guy sounded kind of like a stalker.

Michael raised an eyebrow at her and cocked his head. "What do you mean?" He knew that Emilian had always kept a close eye on him, even when distracted by others, and had reported back to his father.

Michael snorted, "You're saying you think he had a thing for me?" As he thought about it the idea didn't seem so very preposterous. It sent a shiver up his spine, "I don't think so, I'm sure my father paid well."

Pandora noticed his reaction "you never know, just because he got paid doesn't mean anything." she was teasing though she wasn't sure if she was a hundred percent wrong about this.

Michael rolled his eyes, "Ha ha, you're so very funny," he said, as a small laugh came up. Uncertainty shown in his eyes though as he thought back. "You're a sick person," he said, smiling again.

Pandora laughed slightly "Oh I know I am." She could tell that it was slightly uncomfortable and wondered for a moment about whether she should drop the topic or keep on going. "But then again I'm pretty sure your not into guys so you won't have to worry about it."

"Yeah, well, if you're right, my preference really won't matter that much," Michael said, laughing. He was trying to remember, to remember if his keeper had ever given any sign. Of course, that was hard, considering Michael had tried to avoid him at all costs.

Pandora shrugged "If I'm right I think your girlfriend would probably try to thrash him." and then of course they would all have to come to her rescue. If this guy did show up the year would probably get interesting no matter what. And even if Pandora had been longing for some fun she wasn't sure if this was exactly the kind she wanted.

"If he does show up, I want her hidden away," he said, looking at her, his face all seriousness. The first thing he wanted to do when and if he heard that Emilian was on campus was to put Anna in the room of requirement, or maybe in the back room of the Bloody Mary, he wasn't sure just yet.

Pandora's eyes darkened as she realized how truly serious the situation could be "he'd go after her to get to you, and any of your friends he saw as being less of a threat." like most pure bloods she knew that those who were outside of Slytherin were seen by some to be weaker even if it was just because chances were they couldn't throw a really nasty curse if need be. "Though if it took place here whatever happens would likely be made to look like an accident." She wasn't joking or teasing any more it was almost like planning for war and a slight edge of steel crept into her voice.

"He'll go after Anna, and if he does some research he'll go after Dru too, but I know Dru can hold her own. Anna..." Michael sighed, "I don't know, I don't want to say she's weak....she's just...." He struggled to find a word to fit her. "Innocent? She's not been exposed to this kind of thing."

Pandora she couldn't even remember what it was like to be that innocent and yet she somehow knew that it was as beautiful as it was deadly. "Yes she's innocent and I think you should allow her to stay that way at least a while longer. She wasn't raised to know the darkness and evil that we saw all the time, it would be tragic to rip down that veil of apparent safety now." It would probably best for Anna if she really didn't know what they were up against at all.

Michael nodded, "She knows my background, and she knows that by my family finding out someone may come, but I do not want her in a fight." He just hoped that she would accept him trying to hide her and not fight him. He didn't know how being involved in a fight would affect how she was, and he didn't want her to change.
