Brenna had finally managed to find her way outside form the halls. The rather large amount of time she had wandering the halls looking for an exit gave her time to cool off from the unexpected meeting with Vannah. She walked down to the lake and sat on the edge. The lake at Hogwarts was beautiful and peaceful. Brenna enjoyed it.

Ryan walked out of the castle wiping the tears from his eyes and trying to clear his thought. As he started to walk toward the lake he noticed Brenna sitting by the lake and decided to go see what she is up to. He walked up to her "This spot taken?" he asked softly

Brenna looked up and saw Ryan. "No, go ahead." She said starting to smile, but noticed the redness of his eyes. "What's the matter?" Brenna asked him gently. Very rarely did she see a guy crying...very rarely did she see a guy being at an all girl's school, but that wasn't the point. It must've been bad.

Ryan sighed "Vannah got mad at me and stormed off." he said as he sat beside her and looked out at the lake.

Brenna looked at him with sympathy. She suddenly got conerned. "Sh-she didn't tell you anything a-about....?" Brenna sked unable to figure out how finish that question.

"Er..." Brenna said debating with herself. "Yeah!" She said a little too brightly. Her face fell. "No...I mean did she tell you about anything else that happened when she was a Beaxbatons?"

"Okay then. Nevermind any of it." Brenna said relieved. If Vannah had told Ryan about her brother, she would definately have to kill her. "So, you wanna takl about what happened?"

Ryan looked out at the lake "Not much to talk about, she told me a secret and I didnt react like she wanted me to apparently, so she got mad and...." he trailed off at the end of the sentence and some more tears ran down his face.

"Look at yourself, Ryan." Brenna said. "Pull it together! If she told you a secret that was shocking and didn't expect you to react, then she's not worth it. Hell, she's a cow!" Brenna said trying to cheer him up. "She doesn't deserve you."

Ryan looked back out at the lake and thought deeply. Thoughts of what had just happend went through him as well a thoughts of last summer at home. He did all he could to keep his tears inside now.

Brenna looked at Ryan. "Look, Ryan. I'm not being nosy, but I need to know what that girl said." She finally said. "Because as much as it has effected you, I know someone it may have effected even more....and in one of the worse ways."
