Chase was wandering the grounds, heading toward a quiet spot near the lake, when he saw a couple snogging on the beach. They looked sickeningly unaware of the world and were gazing at each other like moonstruck dogs. If he had recognized them, he'd have turned around immediately and walked away, but he hadn't looked close enough to recognize them, so he intended to just ignore and pass behind them on his way.

Vannah heard grass crunching behind them, so she discreetly turned to see who it was. She noticd it was Chase and she turned bac. "Oh...god.." She told Ryan. "Just when things were getting good."

The couple must have come up for air. Chase could hear them talking. He swore under his breath as he rcognized their voices. He made a face of disgust and paused in his tracks, sniffing the air. "Nasty! It smells like jerk out here." Chase swung his gaze toward Vannah. "That explains it," he said. Chase grinned wickedly, then turned away.

Vannah glared at Chase. "Damn you Chase!" She said. "Go find someone else to waste your time on....someone who actually cares." Vannah said agitatedly.

Chase shrugged. "Your loss, kitten." He said it just to annoy her further, then turned and continued on his way.

Ryan watched as Chase and Vannah shot back and forth at each other and just listened and looked at Vannah when Chase had walked away
