Michael stood outside of the hospital wing, having feigned a migrain to get out of class to come. He took a deep breath and pushed open the large doors, looking around the large hall. "Dru?" he called softly, unsure, but there was no turning back now. He knew he could have went to the club and found her easily, but he didn't really want to see her in a crowded place.

Dru pushed through the doors, her arms full of bottles, her wand behind her ear. She was halfway across the room before she realized someone was in there with her. Her eyes widened when she saw him and she nearly dropped all the bottles, but was fast enough to pull out her wand and levitate them. "Michael," she said, an unsure smile spreading across her face.

Michael wet his lips and swallowed, "Hey, Dru." He shoved his hands in his pockets and nodded towards the bottles, "Need some help?" he asked, taking a step towards her.

"Huh? Oh, no, but thank you, I've got it." With a wave of her wand the bottles set themselves on a table beside of a bed. She stared at him for a moment and crossed her arms tightly. "So, what brings you here?" she asked, watching him.

"I wanted to talk to you," Michael said, knowing that they had long past the phase of skating around the main point of a conversation. "I think we both have things we should talk about." He had Annabelle and he knew she was in the drama with Chase and Storm.

Dru bit her lip before nodding, "Yeah, I guess we do." He had been brave to come to her, the least she could do would be to breach the conversation. "Did you and Annabelle get together?" she asked, she knew they had had a date the Saturday before.

Michael smiled, "Yeah," he said, remembering how she made him feel. Then he focused back on Dru, "How do you know about us?" he asked.

"She told me about your date the night before in the owlery," Dru said, "She wanted to make sure it was ok with me." She bit her lip, wondering how he would take it. "I'm really happy for you," she said, a smile spreading across her face.

"Oh. Anna must really value you, of course, I don't really blame her." Michael looked down, thinking for a second. "She really is...." he sighed, a smile on his face, then shook his head. "So," he said, looking at her seriously. "Tell me about Chase. The things I've heard...."

Dru sighed, "The short or the long?" she asked, but then shook her head, knowing he'd want everything. She moved to sit on one of the beds. "Well, I met him at the club. We talked, verbal stimulation as he likes to call it," she grinned slightly, hearing him say it. "And then we danced, he kissed me," she avoided his eyes, unsure of how he would take the next part. "We went up to the over sixteens room and well....he tried to go...farther than I wanted to go, but I told him no, he wouldn't listen but a professor came in so he left." She looked up at him, there was more to the story, but she wanted to know if he had anything to say.

Michael narrowed his eyes at her last sentence. "Why did you let him go that far, Dru?" he asked. He still cared for her and the thought of her being forced into something made him angry. "Why did you take him into that room?" For just a second he sounded like the overprotective older brother.

Dru cowered slightly, feeling his anger. "Honestly, I was trying to forget you. He's very seductive, and he has these eyes..." she trailed off, his eyes filling her mind. "I saw him again in the room of requirement, I didn't let him kiss me, I talked to him, found out quite a bit about him that day, of course, that's when I started to care about him. The next time I saw him at the club, we ended up together." She looked up at Michael, pleading with her eyes, "I really do like him, Michael."

Michael's eyes softened when he looked into hers and he walked over to her, putting his hands on her shoulders. "Dru, I want you to be happy, but you can do a hell of a lot better than some player like him."

Dru's eyes started to water as she looked into his, but she blinked to clear them. "If you really want me to be happy, then let me make my own decisions. I know he's not the best guy in the school, but there's so much more to him than what he puts out. Michael, you, of all people, should understand that." Her voice was soft as she spoke.

Michael sighed, staring into her eyes. "If you think he's what's best for you, then fine. And yes, I do understand," he smiled at her, "As long as you're happy. You know that if you ever need someone....that I'm here. Always." He stared into her eyes, the word a promise.
