Slytherin Table

[Pandora D'Winter]

Pandora walked past Michael on her way to the Slytherin table before setting down her eyes quickly scanning the two other occupants. She recognized them almost at once not that they were exactly close or anything but she could pretty much identify most other purebloods on sight. She sat between Aldeara and Chase and looked at the food in front of her wondering for a moment if she was actually expected to start a conversation with them but in the end decided it could do no harm to say hello, after all it was only polite. "How do you do." She said sweetly before turning to her food. Anything else would be up to one of them.

Storm walked slowly to the Slytherin table she hated this part of the day for it meant that everyone was gathered there to eat. She looked over at the Slytherin table and sped up noticing two people she knew. The first one she completely ignored she didn't feel like talking to Chase at the moment and instead directed her attention to Pandora. She stared hard then a grin broke on her face. "Pandora." she said in a greeting taking a seat across from her.

Pandora's smile almost lit up her face finally someone she actually knew more then on a name basis. "Storm long time no see." So maybe it had only since the last big party but still. "How's school been for you." So maybe they weren't always the best of friends but that was only because they were a little too like there names.

She grimaced at her words.

"The usual schools been horrible." she then smiled brightly.

"Hows Saint and the rest of your family." Storm wouldn't dare bring up Pandora's other brother name, she knew how close they were, or at least she thought she knew.

Pandora smiled not even thinking of the one other one "My brother is doing great, he's rising up with his job at the ministry and he actually loves his work. And my parents are well there parents who cares how there doing right now. Like I'd even know." Pandora paused for a moment she could never tell how her parents were unless she was in the same room as them in that moment. "How about you."

"I'm good." she said smiling then her lips turned to a scowl instantly at teh thought of her parents

"My parents, well to hell with them I really don't care what happens to them." she said leaning back, she never cared for her parents to them she was just a trophy daughter, and she wasn't one to really spend time with them. "I haven't seen my cousin in a while though, I think she's around here somewhere." her eyes flickered over to the Ravenclaw table and returned to Pandora.

"Still drawing?" she asked her curiously, Storm adored Pandora's art work, but she would never admit it, it was the first rule in there rivalry.

"Of course I've never stopped. Pretty sure that my soul would whither without it." Pandora knew she was the artist out of the two one of the few things that she won hands down without trying. She almost smirked at Storm's reaction to just talking about her parents, parents were just so restrictive and well they just never understood anything. Pandora was greatful though that her parents weren't to the extreme that Storm's had always been at.

"So you and the Ravenclaw are still acknowledging each other's presence."

"Haven't spoken to her for ages, I don't plan to either." she cringed at what her family would do if they were to catch her talking with her cousin again.

"I haven't really been do much only met a few people really, as you know I don't like social events." she looked at Chase from the corner of her eye and quickly looked back to Pandora.

"I've been to busy reading a few books, and writing." she had found that she had a way with words, it could be the fact that she couldn't express emotion in front of her parents, so instead they flowed into her writing.

Pandora nodded, at what Storm said about her cousin but didn't miss her quick look over at Chase and wanted to find out what if anything was going on there. She smirked when Storm mentioned her writing, Pandora would never tell anyone but the other girls writing was every bit as good as her painting. "Sounds like a lot of fun," She said before lowering her voice slightly to continue "So seen any hott guys around here. Because if you haven't we really must go search for at least one." If there was nothing else to do rivalry over a guy was always fun as long as emotions didn't get too involved and the guy always seemed to enjoy the game.

Storm turned a deep red as she stuttered over her words, she bit her lower lip composing herself before returning to a calm persona she wouldn't lie to Pandora, she wasn't one who enjoyed lying.

"Yes, and this time he's off limits." she said remembering the times before. She remembered how Pandora used to always play around with the same guy Storm would like, but unlike those times, this one she found herself having stronger feelings for than before.

Pandora made a pouting face, "Come on Storm its not like it would be serious or anything, and if I win I always give them back eventually. Besides I doubt I would be that good of competition." And there was Ryan but that couldn't stop her, it wasn't like he didn't already have someone. And she was bored and when she got bored she caused problems. Storm had never really cared to much before, and like she said she always gave them back.

She rolled her eyes at her and shook her head.

"Maybe, but do you know who it is?" she could see Chase from the corner of her eyes and felt dread wash over her, things were already complicated, and Pandora would make it worse, but she wasn't going to take away Pandora's fun and shrugged.

"Find out who it is, and you've got yourself another game."

Pandora smirked Storm always gave in to a good game, "Sure, I'm up for that." She wasn't going to tell Storm that she had noticed her glances because pretty much when she was doing something like this the less people that knew the better.

Storm could see that Pandora knew who it was she would act oblivious to thins and laughed.

"Good luck, I mean it seems he's already taken." her eyes shot back to the Ravenclaw table, she would have to explain everything to Pandora, they may have been rivals, but they were also friends.

Pandora made a face, "So you mean even if i get him I'll be doing you a favor." Her eyes moved to follow Storm's "you mean I'm fighting over a guy with a Ravie, this I gotta hear." Ok so Storm knew that she knew who the guy was. But now even something more important came up, no guy in there right mind should even chose another girl over a Slytherin unless they needed help with there homework or were having some kind of identity crisis.
